[产品来源] 本品为豆科植物豆茶决明Cassia nomame (sibe.)Kitagawa的全草提取物。一年生或多年生草本，或亚灌木，高10—60厘米；具多数披散分枝，稍被短柔毛。托叶线形，渐尖，长5—10毫米，宿存。叶长7.5—10厘米，茎上部的较短，小叶20—50对，线状镰形，长3—4毫米，宽1—1.5毫米，先端短急尖，基部截形，不对称，中脉靠上缘，小叶具敏感性，易合拢，叶轴无槽；叶柄长3—10毫米，上端有1枚圆盘状腺体。花腋生，常单生，或2—3朵组成短总状花序；苞片与托叶相似，小苞片更小；花梗长5—10毫米，被短柔毛；萼片披针形，长5—6毫米；花瓣黄色，不等大，倒卵形或圆形，与萼片等长或稍长，具短柄；雄蕊10，5长5短，相间而生。荚果线状镰形，长2.5—5厘米，宽约5毫米，扁平，微弯。种子10—16粒。花果期6—11月。
