[产品来源] 本品为马鞭草科植物蔓荆Vitex trifolia L.的干燥成熟果实提取物。落叶灌木，高约3m。幼枝四方形，密被细绒毛；老枝圆形，无毛 。叶对生，倒卵形，长2～5cm，宽1～3cm，先端圆形，下面密生灰白色绒毛。圆锥花序顶生；萼钟形，5齿裂，外面密生白色短柔毛；花冠淡紫色，先端5裂，二唇形；雄蕊4；子房4室，密生腺点，柱头2裂。核果球形，熟后黑色。花期7月，果期9月。
